Next Poznan update contains my experiments with Ambient Occlusion, it’s still in development but I’m satisfied with progress.
I have a lot of ideas for terrain and road texturing but my buildings were not at that quality level as I wanted they should be and I think it’s time to do noticable step forward also in this area.
Lighting study is a difficult and time consuming but I belive it will help to improve quality of my future tracks.
Soft shadows visible on these simple renderings will be baked into light map and then added to building’s material. In other words, soft shadows will be visible in game.
Plus, you can see much more small details added to building.
